I know the feeling. I'm treating my gold sexlink as a control chick. If any of the chicks had much bigger/brighter headgear than she does, then I'd worry.

Haha I keep telling the kids we won't know for sure until they are about grown. But it's fun to play the guessing game, but nerve racking too. Lol

Feather sexing only works if a chick has been specifically bred for it. It requires a very specific set of genes from each parent for accuracy.
