Oh, ok. Well I guess I mean the patches where the earlobes would develop are pinkish red. I thought that was indicitave of the earlobe color. At what age do the actual lobes develop?
Right around the time that the comb starts to develop. Usually between 14 to 18 weeks of age. Her coloring doesn't look quite right for a Welsummer, so don't get your hopes up for terracotta colored eggs. She will probably lay a of shade of brown, though.
 
This one is about 15 weeks bought 6 chicks 2 already Roos any idea on this one

Gotcha. She's 13 weeks, and yes, we realized early on that she wasn't actually a Welsummer, so it'll be a little bit of egg suprise.
 
My 15 week old TSC "layer" sprouted a red comb and wattles much quicker than her sisters. DH thinks could be a rooster but no crowing from this one that I know of. What do you think?
