Not Sure If You've Got A Pullet Or Cockerel? Click Here! Thread 2

There is a chance you've got a girl, but I think not. Please post pics in a couple weeks to confirm.

Will do. Her comb started swelling up and getting red a week ago and i started wondering. She wont stay in brooder and tries to ride on my shoulder all day. And pointed feathers on back of neck and saddle. We'll see. Probably try to keep both if we can.

13 in brooder if shes a he. 11 adults already in coop. I have a very friendly RIR adult rooster with them so my numbers will be off... and a bunch of Bantams with one frizzled very small roo but my RIR doesn't really acknowledge hes there.

It's too soon for pointed feathers. You aren't looking for slightly narrower at the tip, you're looking for very skinny feathers with a very pointed tip. They are later -- like 3-4 months of age. I think from the timing on the comb changes and your description of behavior, though, that this one is probably male.

6 weeks
Does this one work? Shes being a brat lol

I'm thinking cockerel due to wattle growth at 6 weeks but there is a chance it could be a fast developing pullet give it a few weeks and post again
