You mentioned 84 degrees.

But the day before was it insanely hotter than that? (In my state we can have weird weather mood swings like that.) And that could explain it.

We’ve had several weeks in the low 90s/upper 80s with high humidity (I’m in Ohio). But yes, it felt considerably more tolerable yesterday. I’ve been clipping battery operated camping fans around their run whenever it was really hot (no electric by the coop). And they’ve had access to their regular water plus a tub of water that I’d put chunks of ice in. I also have shade cloth hanging on the run to block the sun when it’s at certain spots throughout the day.

I guess it could be temperature related? Just the sudden change? I’m just not sure if this is a monitor it kind of thing, or a call the vet kind of thing.

Naturally, the vet that will see chickens is out of town until Monday. I did make an appointment for Monday afternoon just in case. Anything I should or could be doing to help my girl through the weekend? She hasn’t moved from her spot in the run. Thanks in advance!

Of course, that'd be my luck. I'd maybe hang around her a lot or keep a close eye. Maybe if she still wants to stay there take her outside or set up a really compfy spot. You can give her little bits of water at a time through a medicine seringe you use for little kids or a lid to like an apple juice bottle container. try to get her to eat, maybe give her something blended in a seringe. I also hear chickens enjoy greek yogert. Check her vent just to be sure. And above all else love her.

Her crop is still a little squishy?

Don’t think she’s out of the woods yet. But definitely improved. After walking around for half an hour, she’s parked herself by some water and has now gone to sleep. She also wouldn’t eat a blueberry. But she is drinking.

It's good that she's drinking.
I wouldn't push food on her if the crop was still squishy this morning.
The poop is not normal - hard to tell what that is, she may have infection or that could be part of a membrane. In the photos she is not feeling well.

It may be a good idea, to feel inside her vent about 1-2" for an egg. Get more photos of her poop too.

What do you feed? Do you provide oyster shell and crushed granite (grit) free choice?
