November/December "Hatch-a-Long"

They were pretty easy to hatch and tiny then i incubated 21 chicken eggs and 19 came out and then goose eggs and it took me years to get a baby gosling in my incubator

I incubated hundreds of dollars worth of peafowl eggs this year...hatched 1 chick...fell madly in love with her and 9 days later she passed

Got two pips today on day 19 from my blue eggs. Super excited. This is my second hatch attempt. First attempt had two temp surges that killed all the eggs. So if I get any hatches, they will be my first!

looks really good...that's a nice strong pip...I wouldn't be surprised if it zipped sooner than you expect

I hope I hope. When I opened it up to take a look there was tons of chirping going on. Good thing football is on to keep me occupied.
haha i know how you feel football also keeps me busy of thinking i wanna grabbed the babys out of the incubator! But if i dont have anything to do i go to the incub. And stare at it for hours

Heidisgran, I have extra incentive NOT to hatch. We're military and have been given the heads up that we will be moving. I want to get these guys to the point they'll survive a long distance move. Now just praying that an overseas assignment isn't in the picture right now.

One of my chicks hatched yesterday....out of 16 eggs 7 weren't even fertile, the rest died before hatching. This is why I will no longer get eggs from anyone else can't trust them. When I hatched from my flock in the spring time I set 17 and all 17 hatched. Now I'm stuck with one lonely chick. :/
