Aww thanks, no they weren't shipped, I bought them from a local breeder. I've bought a few times from them before, and they've always been great, so this was just one of those things. Never mind. Still happy with my 4

Finished my November hatch a week ago, can't start the incubator again Jan 21st. after doing hatch after hatch after hatch since March (my first year doing this) I now just sit and look at my recently cleaned and disinfected incubator sitting there so lonely.

Sad isn't it?

Doing good glad I’m not to late. The peeps I hatched are growing like weeds even the late one.

I have three growing up with the silky from Halloween so not hatching this one life through another curve ball lost one of the two pullets marans the smaller of the two this morning no marks on her but worried to death.. the cockerel I kept comes to me for pets

Not sure but that is why I hatched a few from mine but seems my lavender boy is not allowed by a few of ladies they had 9 eggs to hatch 3 did 1 died in part way out so 5 nothing but old eggs duds only put green or blue eggs under them if the marans stays so nice and treats the girls well I will take the lavender to auction he is striking

So I locked down last night day 18 around 8 and already had a talking pip! Woke up for work this am 5am and still waiting for action. Wife called around 7 and we had a lil one running around the bator talking up a storm. Came early buy hey thats ok by me this is my first hatchling! Thrse are silkies in case any newcomers hadn't read the whole thread. 5 more to go!
