Normally on day 1 mine started on 1 1/2 You need to bring the humidity up to 80%-90% for the last 3 days

I meant 70-75%. I’m working 12 hour shifts this weekend. Ugh! Hopefully chicks can wait for me. How long from crack to out of egg?

after they got there first little holes many were around 12 hours after. I have 4 right now. I have many working on their shells.

80~85% for the last 3 days is too much, suggest to fully open the air vent to reduce humidity level.

Suggest to fully open the air vent for last 3 days; in general, chick will com out of the egg within 24 hours from the the time you see holes on the eggs.

this thread showed some nice candling pics using the NR 360 candler. They put a dark piece of paper with a smaller hole to candle and focus the light into the egg.

I had a realllly badly batch of scrambled shipped eggs and since I paid so much for them I put them in the nurture 360 incubator in small egg carton cups (so the air cell was sitting upright) and today I hatched out two babies- so I'm still impressed. I will note that I am doing staggered hatching, so I have been using my old styrofoam incubator as my lockdown incubator so I haven't experience the terrible fan blunder. I'm gonna order that piece tomorrow though because of that poor chick! I have experienced weird fluctuations with humidity. I'm keeping my humidity levels around 45-50% depending on the air cell sizes and I always check the level before I go to bed. The percentage doesn't fluctuate during the day much, if at all. However, when I wake up the humidity will be at 9 or 11. It's weird. So far my hatching hasn't been affected. So I'm not sure what is going on.

i add water and it immediately starts going back up to normal.

Is there any water in Chamber "A" when you saw humidity reading is 9 or 11?
