Nurture Right 360 temp fluctuating

Tomorrow is my hatch day in my NR360, and I numbered all my eggs just because of this post 😂 It’s actually nice because you can keep a log that way!
Hey right on! Happy hatching!
I've got quails popping out as we speak. 14 pips, zips and 2 out.

Hahaha! Step one: number eggs!

Just stumbled upon this thread since I’m having the same issue with the nr360. My averages are good, and temp never falls below 99.5, so I try not to be overly worried. There’s definitely hot and cold spots, though. I’ve identified that the cold is at the back, left side. Any time the Govee reaches that area, that’s when the dips happen. The warm spot tends to be toward the front.

I try to keep it at 100, but it’ll go anywhere from 99.5 to 100.8. The room it’s in is our spare bedroom and the most undisturbed room in our house. It stays a constant temp, and there aren’t really any other variables that would affect the temp in there. Think it’s just the incubator. I’ve used multiple govees (I could be a spokesperson for the brand atp, with how many gauges I’ve purchased). They all read the same way.

Your averages sound good! I had a 100% hatch rate. I did have to calibrate it a few times, but all the chicks made it

How were your quail??
I had 15/18 fertile - 13/15 hatch - 1 had a hernia and one didn't make the night. So I ended up with 11.

Pretty pleased with it since they were shipped eggs.

I started a new batch.

120 set - 14 not fertile. So we've got 106 eggs cooking along!

Oh my goodness!!! So cute! I had some Guineas in my incubator before the storm hit. We were out of power for 3 days and they didn’t make it 😢. How do you go about selling chickens and hatching eggs? I’d love to make a business out of this. It would be great to make a living off of doing something I love, but I don’t know how to start.
