@Gramma Chick i hope you and cowboy feel better. Seems like I read about using Vaseline on legs for scaly mites, that might work in winter as it’s used to prevent frostbite too

That one in the pic looks like a Roo..HA HA Loo at the way it is standing ..

Ya I have a few that are acting rooish. She was just out of the bator here. I named her Betty white (she has since started feathering with paint spots)because I thought she was white and hatched on Betty whites birthday but I’ve thought the same as you might be a roo.

Hope all is well. Haven't been getting notices of postings. don't know why. Busy with DW. she's in the rehab center. Was in hospital. go to spend the day with her everyday. Nothing new on the chickens front. though something did get one of my EE hens. I suspect Jackson the husky next door. Lots of prints but not sure. Had to have jumped the fence but I'm not sure where. Now new prints so I've been letting them back out. Saw tabs was on and trying to find those I follow. Not sure how to do that since I don't get notices of when they post. TTFN
