Well folks, it looks like Tab cannot host Chickenstock this year, so it will be at our place in the Finger Lakes.
I will start a thread shortly (unless @Pyxis wants to volunteer for the techie stuff
I know many of you have kids to think about - this will be kid friendly so bring 'em along - I'm open to suggestions of the date you would like.

anyone else have a chick that has failed to thrive ?
It is 3 months - has not grown in a month or so .
It has this hunckered down stance ...tells me it doesnt feel well.
I started it on amoxilin to see if that helps it .
Most times I cant feel a crop ...it has never had stinky breath that I know of ( crop issues )
I have seen it eat though...it does kind of pick .

how much amoxilin do you give a rooster ?

Sure, I can do the lists again I might not be able to make it this year unless Metella and I can both go and split a hotel room since it's a long drive and I wouldn't want to do it all in one day.

how much amoxilin do you give a rooster ?

I give a adult - 1 -250 mg twice a day ..you can open it up and put the powder in a moist piece of bread or wet food

WARNING GRAFFIC -
TiTi my Sumatra got left out side and I think something may have attacked her . I heard a ruckus ..and went out to the coop . and there she was waiting / roosting on the ground . I picked her up and and 4 of her toe nails were pulled off and bleeding .
She was wet and cold . I thought she might be going into shock .
So I brought her in and gave her a warm baking soda soak and blow dryed her feathers.
Bandaged her feet . Anyone know if toe nails grow back ?.

It may be related ..to ..I think we have another RAT ..
i HAVE fake eggs in the hen house ..Yesterday morning there was not a single one in there ...no where in the coop either

If you have a travel trailer there is a camp ground just down the road....
