NY chicken lover!!!!

Thanks for the info. Would you be willing to sell me some hatching eggs if I came to pick them up? (Whenever they start to lay good.) Do you have all colors or are they all white?
Wish you asked me last spring, had two small breeding groups of them. A red/black rooster over black and reds, and the white with a white.
I was going more for whites but lost a bunch of chicks to a skunk... Then when I was culling all the older hens and newer cockerels I somehow made a mistake and culled my first white hen (mad rush to get a dz done I mistook her for a cockerel..)
I currently now have a white rooster and two black hens, two red hens, and a white hen.
BUT...., I recently for something different swapped my white jersey giant rooster and the naked neck rooster for the Easter hatch-a-long, going to set eggs from each coop. And I'm actually thinking of getting rid of all, giants and NN's except for NN/giant crosses, keeping just the ones that hatch naked.
If your interested in giant/NN crossed eggs I'll have some after I set for EHAL.
Hoping to free up my big coop and maybe get a couple milk goats.

Update on TiTi-
I am pretty sure she may have been the one that triggered the rat trap on top of the coop ..( it was set ).I noticed the trap was sprung .. yesterday afternoon . I thought a rat had got up there..I put it up there in the morning ..because I didn't think anyone would notice it or get into it . Her 3 longest nails are cut off..and there are no other injuries to her at all.
I think her nails may grow back ..as she has Small Nail buds on her toes . when I touch the tip of them ...she is healing I believe

Have you applied the blood stopper?
If she seems to be in pain use baby teething numbing to help it's what I've used when mine have pains and blood
I hope she recovers soon, best wishes

Hello, Everyone!!
I can definitely relate to the "want"versus the "need " issue....smile!!! I surely don't NEED any more chickens....... but definitely want (and WILL get) more. They're quite addictive!! Does anyone locally have any Blue Laced Red Wyandottes??!! I have 2 currently...and am looking to add more to my flock.
