Rancher--i hope you had you tinfoil hat on!

Cold wind today. Gave the cheeps some kale and apples. Of course when I stepped outside with the magic folgers can, they all started begging for "the good stuff". Since I like free labor, I spread some scratch and boss around inside each coop. I thought I was going to be jumped in the terrorist coop! That group can track food better than a coon hound on a fresh coon track! Now if only I could train them to track down money.

Good luck with all your hatching out there. Hoping to fire up my new brinsea and new genesis 1588 at the end of the month.

I went & bought chicken feed yesterday ...at Farm & tractor ..This is the 1st time I noticed it was taxed ..
Did I miss something ? or was I wrongly charged ?

Country Max has BOSS on sale. $23 for a 50# bag if you have the money and storage. Wish I did. I need to buy same scratch to dilute what I've got now.

Hi VM,

I'd love to know your set-up for raising mealworms. I raise red winglet worms in my basement but it would be great to have mealworms as well. Any info would be appreciated especially since mealworms seem to be getting more and more expensive.

Birchen Maran, a couple of CR's , some DELs and an orp or two.

Saw some tracks out near the outback coop. Looks to be deer though. Must of come over to have a look at the Deer Target/lawn ornament I have back there.

I found a target with a hole through middle in the woods and too four sticks and put the head back on and made a lawn ornament out of it.

Anyhow it appears the deer came to have a look at the coop, which has a light on in it 24/7. The light can be seen throught the clear plastic cover.

You crack me up!
