Congrats on the babies! Can't wait to see them!5 days til hatch-this morning it is 24F but feels like 16F out-I will not be taking the broody off the nest this morning, she will have to wait or get down on her own (I don't believe that she is-I take her off once a day and she barely eats or drinks and runs back to the nest). Thankfully it is supposed to be 70 this weekend when they hatch and then 50s next week.
I know! The oldest one is 2 days older, I bought her, is already getting her feathers on her back! I was just remembering how cute the little fluff down wings were and now they already have flight feathers.@Pampered chicken girl that baby chick's color is amazing and WOW they grow fast, lol seems like you were just posting newborn pics
Pretty certain there is a hatch-a-long every month, or pretty darn closeis there a hatch-a-long in the spring? I'm thinking about doing a breeding project this april/may and might be able to join then.
not to pick favorites but I really like the coloring on the one on the rightCongrats on the babies! Can't wait to see them!

I kept tinkering with the NEW Kebonnixs Incubator and got it holding 99.1 to 99.3 temp and perfect on humidity so all 5 cochins went into lockdown yesterday! One was questionable...but I put it in as it has been perfect up to this point! Another that I thought was gonna be a BR early on ended up thriving and looking amazin!!!
Yall cheer on the little LAVENDER/black to be a LAVENDER AND HEALTHY!!!
