Is there any way I could tell their sex at one day or these breeds are not sexable? You don’t need to separate them. The above chick was in a brooder with Pekins.
I’m scare of vent sexing. I watched videos and research a lot. I guess the lab worker on me. Any way I am scared I’ll hurt themYou can vent sex them, but the easiest way is day three. I don’t know Dutch Bantam, but it’s likely relatively reliable. Girls feather out faster. They will have cute little feathers coming in on their wings.
Oh sorry about your problem. I hope all the others make it okWhy are my chicks shrink wrapped? Humidity at lockdown was right, temp is write, two hatched fine a third zipped and stayed for over 36 hours went to pull it out and realized she was stuck and alive. Did what I could to safely release her, I hope she is ok in the morning. Have another egg that was half way through cutting her shell I'm pretty sure she didn't make it. Still waiting on the rest to hatch. Fingers crossed it will work out.
