I'm so excited to see them. This is getting me excited for my Halloween hatchUpdate: my app had lockdown to begin today, 6 days before hatch. Well I candled and I've got 4 internal pips! My suspicions about the blue australorp starting them for me are correct. So, I have 14 muscovys in incubator, and gave the 5 iffy eggs to the crazy broody muscovy. (Ignore the thermometer, I only just put it back in)View attachment 1940775 View attachment 1940777
@Willowspirit Some chick's hatch during the day, so I don't see that leaving the light on at night would hurt the process.
Aahh we don't like Starbucks here.. they have a very discriminating policy against normal people.I discovered starbucks today, of course this far from civilisation it only comes in pod form, but I can totally see my self as an addicted New yorker.
Is this a table? I am still not sure what you mean by chicken tractor but I'll survive. I would like to see the end result. I have these moveable cages, but they are not proof against wild animals and we have lots here including rats and polecatsI don't know if people can envision this, but the back and two sides will all be tin (three sides covered). The front will be a door and metal fencing. I'm making two for my meat chickens. I'll be making a roosting bar and a few other things for them. I didn't know what to do with the railings so somehow I got this vision.
They're like moveable chicken coops with a grass/dirt floor.
