OHMY, BJ should look like Buddy??? I would be crying if I saw my baby looking like that...... Great pic to show before/after........I know frizzles molt worse than smooth but YIKES! Glad mom stills loves ya BJ.......

My poor Ellie! This is the worst molt any of my girls have gone through. Love the single tail feather though!

This is one of my Buff's. She is 4 years old and this is the first time she has molted....I always worry when a hen molts and can't get up on the roost. My last hen almost killed herself trying to fly up w/o feathers...I finally had to make a ramp for her to walk up so she could get to the top with the other hens....I uploaded her picture but don't see how to add it to this post?

Some of these pictures are hillarious!! My moulting girls look almost humiliated. I wish I had caught this contest a few weeks ago as my Silkies weren't bad, but they had pin feather "pompadors". Here is the worst of my bunch, Miss Ruthie my little pin cushion. She was much worse two days ago, but I just got the email for the contest today.
