Yeh, we stopped counting. There are about 100+ breeders, lots of juveniles and even more chicks.
300-400 chickens? Wow!

That's a lot of chickens. I heard of a guy who had over 40,000 hens, and he raised them all on pasture. Now that's a lot.
 
At this point we have 16 hens. We had gotten up to 21 a few months ago, but a few old biddies have passed away and a few
trouble-maker/broody girls got re-homed. My BIL has been making noises about getting some heritage birds or RIRs so I
imagine there will a change in the numbers soon. Maybe even a rooster is finally in the cards. Sort those girls out buddy.
 
I have 12 right now. 1 white leghorn, 2 Easter Eggers, 2 barred rock, 2 white rock, 4 (sex still unknown) silkies, and 1 Rhode Island Red rooster.
Once the silkies starting laying, I plan on letting them hatch eggs when they are broody. I'd like a few more EEs.

Whew they won't stand still! 9 Cornish xrocks ,24 red rangers all 6 to 5 weeks old. 5 barred rock hens 1 redstart hen a 1 leghorn roo. Six week old 1Americuna ,1 leghorn, 1 buff orp,1 black star,1red star hens. Two Roos a brown leghorn, and a barred rock .Two turkeys a white one and a nasserant hens I think.So 49 total . Turkeys think their chicken!!!!!
