I have chickens, guineas, and ducks. They are all free range, but the chickens and guineas go in the coop at night.

Just 7 tiny chickens over here. Planning to buy some fertile bantam eggs this spring. First choice will be bantam RIR for a few eggs in winter.

Still figuring out if I could keep a few small ducks too in community property. There is a small stream with a well behind our garden where hardly anyone comes, where cats (chick killers) roam. If half-wild ducks can live there with additional feeding in a duck house on the water, I would like to try that. But I suppose the cats are a nasty problem. And because it’s not my property I can’t build any fences to protect them.
I have heard that if there is a stream, ducks will usually follow it.
