Hey! That means there is hope for me yet.

Are they doing a digital mamo? Those are the best out there. Radiologist spotted just a few abnormal cells in my right that could have become breast cancer. I forget how many times the Tech had to blow it up to see if, but the doc did. That's one of the reasons I decided on a double masectomy instead of just doing the one breast.

Fr0!iend of mine found a lump when she was 50. Swore it was going to be cancer. Come to find out it was just breast tissue. Her boobs were growning at 50!

Yes, the did a digital mammogram. So if anything is there, hopefully they will find it. They also did an ultrasound.

As someone who is petite all over, I would love to discover that my breasts were still growing.

I spent 18 years of my life living and breathing breast imaging. I worked for a manufacture and was on the technical/scientific side of things.
Technology:
1. Analog/film mammography can be as good as or better than digital IF the people operating know what they are doing. (Which is rare these days.) (By no means am I saying seek out analog over digital.)
2. All forms of radiographic imaging (mammography) only see certain types of cancers.
3. Ultrasound is also a useful tool for diagnostic imaging. Especially for dense breast tissue.
4. MRI can find what ultrasound and mammography will not.
5. Breast specific nuclear imaging of the breast is an interesting adjunctive procedure.
6. Biopsy is a tool to confirm what is seen in a diagnostic test.

** My opinion: It does not hurt to know who your Radiologist is. (They are the ones who read the images.) Finding one who specializes in breast imaging or one that is at least passionate about it can be helpful in complex situations.)

Howdy!
so, I've only read through the first 20 or thirty pages so far, but I must say I'm impressed!

I am a nonactive pagan who is leaning towards druidism. I'm not seeing myself as one of those druids of a special order, mainly because as someone else said, I'm not much of a joiner! (except when it comes to chickens!) However, I am finding it very difficult right now to see myself as much of anything besides a bit sad, a bit bitter, a bit angry, and a bit bitter. I'm not sure what to do or how to do it, but if I don't get my energy levels and my sense of self under control pronto I am probably going to explode all over everyone.

Sending some healing/balancing energy would definitly not go amiss right now. *sigh* what ever happened to the Merry Month of May? It seems to be the opposite lately.

Well, I don't know about anyone else but I'm feeling a little bit better. I went into the mountains friday for some "me" time (needed to get myself grounded a bit!). It was pretty nice. I'm still a bit edgy, but I am getting better. I think I will put the chick, with their brooder, outside for a bit tomorrow and burn some incense in the bedroom to help clear the air. To be in the mountains, with all that clean energy, was very very helpful

I still haven't gotten the results back from my tests. Hopefully, that will happen Monday.

I have become almost vegetarian. By almost, I mean that every now and then I splurge on a bacon cheeseburger.

For the most part, I am being careful with what I eat and trying to be more healthy.

I went through an "almost vegetarian" phase too - but it was more that I couldn't afford meat at the time!
wishing you well and good results Deb.

Matthew, it's always good to get some peace in a beautiful place
