Anyone think us Girls ought to be given a chance? Guys have ruled, quite bloodily, for quite a while.
I vote we give matriarchy a go.

I vote yeah on the matriarchy. I also vote that next war, they send in the women and let the men stay home

Snakes can also symbolize fertility and virility. Ask yourself-How is your Significant Other? I think it is a good sign though.

I sure do hope they don't symbolize fertility in my case! LOL, I don't have a significant other at the moment, though I've been feeling mighty lonely as of late, so perhaps good things are in my near future!

Today as I was driving in the woods to a nearby trail I saw two turkey toms, each at a different point in the road. It was like de-ja-vu! They didn't even run away when I passed in the truck. They just stopped and turned around to stare at me. The one was a HUGE tom with a big beard too.

According to Ted Andrews in this book "Animal Speak", Turkeys are a symbol of "shared harvest" and are known as "Earth Eagles". I have never thought of a turkey as an omen before, but I always enjoy seeing them. Ted also mentioned that the name "turkey", comes from the Jewish word for peacock, "Tukki". I seem to remember that is what my son used to call them before he started school.

There is a particular dreamscape I often find myself in were the animals and I can communicate simply by looking at each other. There I have met bears, poisonous snakes , fruit bats, scorpions (they don't talk), dogs, saffron robed monks, friends and family (that I have never met outside of the dream). The snakes usually remind me to watch my step as I might not like the consequences.

Also, fertility and virility can also translate to gardening or art. Read as omens, Snake and Turkey together sounds good!

Hey all..

Bears have been raiding regularly!... They tore down the humming bird feeder on the deck, against the kitchen window! Destroyed a bag of alfalfa meal and a huge bag of perlite in the tractor shed. Wow what a mess.
Cubs are cute though, and the electric fence keeps them out of the chicken coop and run... So all is not too bad.

Here are my results... I found I did not find an answer I liked for many catagories, but selected an answer that was "closer" to my view.

I am so exhausted I may just cry. I'm not sure where to begin or how. If murder wasn't so against my personal beliefs and against the whole nature thing I would probably be committing it tonight. I am so

Sorry things aren't going well for you. My weekend sucks too.

Woke up this morning to a cat that couldn't walk correctly. Her hind legs would go opposite directions at the same time. They barely held her weight. She was fine when we went to bed!! She is a bit better this evening. Took her to the emergency vet. They could only keep her until 8:am tomorrow morning when I would have to take her to my own vet and wanted to charge me $497 to do so!! I made them give her sub-cu fluids and a cortizone shot. She's either twisted or tweeked her spine (We found her harness twisted around on her this am OR something has bitten her. Either way they would be giving the fluids sub-cu and the shot. I brough her home, put her in the dog kennel and let her rest. Depending on how she is doing in the morning is whether I take her to the vet or wait until Wednesday when my DH can drive me.

On Thursday I went for a test. I had passed out a few times back in January and have periods of dizziness off and on. They put me on this table, strapped me down, shoot this stuff in my arm, then stand me up. Well, they want me to just stand there for 30 min, what they don't want is for me to pass out. Ooops! I didn't go all the way out. They laid me down before that happened. I have now been diagnosed with autonomic-blah-blah-syncope. Basicly it mean my blood pressure goes down and out my toes while my heart rate shoots out the top of my head. So now I wait to hear back from the doc to find out what do we do from here. Thought I had made it with the chemo not messing with my heart. Guess I was wrong.
