There are actually a group of what they call "Christian Witches" Basically, and I am really generalizing here, it is people that acknowledge more spiritual matters and gifts, while still professing belief in the basic Christian tenets, Jesus, and other things like that.

I do believe in Jesus and everything that comes with it. What I do not believe in is alienating people because of their lifestyle or faith. And alot of Christians do that. We are supposed to pray for God's will for them, not alienate them.

AMEN to that, sister. The exact reason I am a REFORMED Christian, when I needed the "congregation" the most they turned their backs.

Yes, mine did too. And then turned even more when Ken and I moved in together. So now, I choose to do studies independently, and Ken and I watch some of those shows on the History Channel and go over them together. We ARE Equally yoked, and I hate judgement from others who say they have the same beliefs as me. I decided it wasn't worth being hurt by so called friends. Now I am happier than I have ever been. rock on.

I'm really enjoying reading about Paganism. I was raised a southern Baptist. Never felt I fit in. Couldnt stand all the hypocrits. I do believe in God, but I also believe He created nature for us to admire, respect and enjoy. I have learned so many of our Christian traditions originally were Pagan. I plan to add some during this year to our Christian holidays!

History Channel is good. Have you tried Topdocumentaryfilms.com ? Good Stuff. Check out the Mystery and Religious topics.
I am wondering if we have more in common than you think???

We probably do!!! what I love about the History Channel is the slant they put on different stories from the Bible. Ken and I like to pick them apart. It's FUN!

Hi all

I consider myself a well rounded, little bit of everything, whatever feels right witch.
Growing up in a small Texas town it can be tough to find other pagans around but the community seems to be growing.
My husband comes from a traditional Methodist family so I was a little worried about what they would think about the Mexican, homeschooled, pagan, vegetarian girl with two moms.

Luckily it worked out so well that 14 years later we now live next door to his parents.

We have two daughters that we are raising pagan but are welcome to go to any church they would like. We have had wonderful support from both of our family's as well as our AMAZING home school group.
