I found this interesting. I came across the name Erzulie Dantor as the naem of a goddess. Curious, I looked her up. She is a vodoo goddess who is a protector of women and children. My interests don't lie in vodoo but I enjoyed reading about her.

All I can say is "umm.....owww!!! that would hurt!" However, it's good that the rape rate decreased! It's like Hammurabi's law....with a magical twist!

I haven't checked on eggs yet..will in a minute. I noticed yesterday when I was refilling food and water, that there were 3 girls in the nesting box....but I think they're roosting in there, rather than laying.

I think I'll try to give them a jumpstart and put one of those plastic eggs in there like I did when I first built the nesting box.

I have a favor to ask of you all..

My very best friend is in Flroida at the moment trying to locate her beloved dog.. Her mother who forced her out of her home and gave her dog away is refusing to tell her who has Max.. She is now on a frantic search thru Orange County, Fl trying to locate him.. Her magical name is Fyre Cat and she would really appreciate any energy you would be willing to send to her in helping find Max.. Max is a very special needs and has only bonded with her in the 10 years she has had him.. Please help and say a spell or send energy her way...

Wow. That is amazing. Erzulie Dantor fascinates me because she is so tough and protective. It sounds too, that vodoo is more accepting of homosexuals because Erzulie Dantor is also supposed to protect lesbians.

Voodoo in itself is a very positive belief system .. A lot of the Dark tendencies spring from slavery and oppression.. I actually had the honor of working with a HooDoo practioner for a while and was very pleasently suprised to see how kind they are..

Interesting! I'm going to do some reading on HooDoo and try to understand it better.

I was pleased to see that VooDoo or VooDou is one of just two nationally recognized religions in Haiti. I also sympathized with the Haitian VooDoo leader who was so incensed at all the people coming to adopt the quake children who were touting their Christian background and how they were going to make these children into Christians regardless of their previous culture. As an adoptive parent, I can't think of anything worse than to lose your parents, your home, your culture and your religion all in one fell swoop.
