OK ON I know I am bugging you, but did you have any family member who served in Korea?? I know you are close to my age so we'd be more likely to know people who served in Viet Nam, but this is definitely Korea.

On Bears.. Here is what I am trying. Think Martial Arts, find your center, your Chi. With a wide mental stance I am projecting a NO! STAY AWAY!

IHWIMY, I think the only message for me from the bears is "Please put more Salmon skins in the garbage." This way we can raid the cans and make a huge mess, before they pull the bird feeders down and then go wreck my chicken run...

Honestly though I do have much respect for the bear, and awe for our big guy with the silver streak. BUT...No time for being cordial this is WAR!

I love having a big beltaine fest!! But, this year I don't think we will. It snuck up on me...... What's the weather supposed to be?

Fiance's dad is coming out of hospital today, so what I can and can't do is about to take a sharp downturn again

Yeah sorry about that.. Its getting closer to the kids Double Death Day so I start slowing down on alot of things.. I do continue to read this thread everyday just dont always have my head on enough to offer constructive replies...

My heart goes out to you for having to be closeted .. Maybe you and DH can go for a walk out in the country and just have a lil impromptu ritual ...

I will be keeping you all in my heart during ritual this sunday, so if you feel a lil fairy tickling you , its me... LOL

That's ok, just wanted you to know that it had been noticed and cared about

half the time I don't know what to reply anyway so don't worry about that! sorry it's coming up on such a bad anniversary for you

it's not so bad being closeted on this as I've never been overly-demonstrative of my beliefs anyway, I tend to view them as private. I'm surprised at myself for joining in here in the first place.

I tend to sing a song or two to myself and light a candle for the main festivals, and occasionally we'll do a personal ritual when everyone else has gone to sleep (Samhain lead to my pregnancy LOL)
I think as long as I acknowledge it, that's what counts.
can't go for a walk in the countryside, I'm not allowed to walk further than the gate (this house is in a field...) at the moment.
