Official stud-book PMI-TN for Pavo Muticus Imperator

Today I could mark the first offspring 2015 with closed numbered leg bends. Each bird will get two closed rings, one numbered breeder ring with the year on and the yellow numbered stud-book ring.
The food link of the two hens are now big enough that they rings will not drop off anymore and still small enough that a could push them on.

Every day I make a free walk with my green peafowl chicks around. In the video which I made end of June, beginning of July you will see some impressions about it.

People who are interested in offspring and/or to participate the WPA stud-book program can now make reservations for offspring. As you can see on the video they are tame and all in perfect conditions.

We are starting to handover them starting from an age of approx. 4 month. International export is possible, all birds are registered and all needed documents can be issued.

Beautiful video, wished i had some of them here you have done real good with them, they have bonded with you and it is a beautiful thing to see..
Getting them when they have not imprinted makes working with them a challenge but mine are coming around.

Great video. The chicks look great and they are clearly living a great life! Now its just a matter of someone importing them to the U.S.!

That's not up to me, I am able to organize all the necessary papers, etc., as well as transport. But somebody has make the decision to do it.

On my wish list
The crests are starting to grow from the second week.
Really, have you ever raised the Muticus Muticus? if so when do they start to get their crest? one of mine has to be at least 6 weeks old now and i can finely see it's wee little crest, some of the others had theirs when i got them but barely could see them, they are really starting to grow now, i love watching the changes of these greens.
