Oh Craigslist, You Amuse Me So!

Definitely! There were quite a few border collie ads! I guess that comes with the territory of cow and horse country.

I just had never seen one include sheep and I loved the phrasing "border collie starter kits" LOL
Well the idea worked & got you to read the ad.

We live in a typical Midwest suburb, so a dog, its crate, bowls, food, etc. is what came to mind when I first read "border collie starter kits". Certainly not buying a dog & throwing a sheep in for free. LOL

Very true! And yeah exactly, I was thinking like "oh a crate, food, collar and leash, toys, comes with the puppy. How nice"

Nope a literal sheep or two :lau

Lol, I'm amused that it's in the Bozeman Craigslist, and the dogs are in Jordan. Jordan is pretty far from Bozeman but I suppose it's such a hole in the wall town (everything north and east of Billings is a bleep on the map) that Bozeman is where they advertised? I would have listed in Billings for livestock related stuff.
Perhaps they were targeting all the richies who have been buying up land all over Paradise valley and the Gallatin valley. Got so many costal rich folks making "mountain retreats" up around Bozeman and Missoula. *Eye roll*

They I didn't even notice that but I'm not from the state, I'm from Mass, so I guess I wouldn't notice haha I was just looking at horses and figured Montana would be a pretty good place to look.

They might have advertised in the other cities too and I just didn't see it, I only looked in Bozeman. But sometimes people do that, put it in every nearby city.

And these are the only cities offered for Montana

And LOL could be! Though I'd feel sorry for those sheep and the dog

Lol, Jordan would fall under the Eastern Montana label, along with nearly half the state. We have great saddle horses and the world class bucking horse sale, but if you want pedigree, I'd stick with the coasts, as y'all have better registries and more breed specific shows, lol.
If you want to look at horse sales, miles city bucking horse sale is a big event. Rodeos come to get bucking horses from here.
