Same thing is seen in dogs. A Pug x Beagle = a Puggle. I actually saw a very high end mall store selling such mixes for very, very high prices. They kept the dogs in converted baby cribs instead of kennels and had convenient financing plans available. (In addition to all sorts of coordinating leashes, collars, outfits, gourmet dog treats, etc. Don't forget all those needed fancy outfits & doggie shoes!)

Designer mutts make me crazy, unless you are doing it for a specific reason. Occasionally, I get people looking for olive eggers, since I breed Marans and cream legbars, I'll run a batch of those. The birchen Marans roo over cream legbar hens makes a sexlink too, but I definitely remind everyone that these are not purebred, but f1 hybrid olive eggers, and that crossing them won't guarantee future olive eggs.Yes.
