Ok. It is hard getting them to take that full cc. I am just absolutely fed up with chickens today. Up to my eyeballs
Deep breath, I know how frustrating it is, but I know you can do it. :hugs It shouldn't be 1 cc with Tylan 200. Did you see my oral meds article?

Yes I did and thank you. I am having an issue with my oldest hen, a buff orpington and she is really big 8-10 lbs.She is having so much trouble breathing because it is so hot and humid. When I went up to let them out for the day, she would not move. Her comb and wattle were purplish and she was breathing with her mouth open. I scooped her up and brought her into the house and put her in the laundry room, cranked the air down and put a small fan on her. She has pinked up a lot now, still breathing with her mouth open occasionally. I have 23 trees in the back yard so there is plenty of shade out back and I keep an oscillating fan out there and have several waters out back. So I don't know what else to do for her. If I need to keep her in the laundry room until sunset every day I will do that and clean up the mess after I take her outside in the evening

I got a copy of the necropsy today. Little Petunia died of Mareks disease. Plus coccidosis (Dr Kinslow said just a few eggs) and giardiasis which is transmissable to humans. I paid extra to have them vaccinated against all of these. Ain't that a shame, ain't that a shame.

I have read that:

They will still get mareks cancer even with the vaccine
coccidiosis vaccine is for some of the strains
I did not know there was a vaccine for giardasis!
