well I just put the wooden eggs back in the nesting boxes & voila a broody hen!

This would be so neat! Not sure I could convince DH to drive out there, especially for more chickens. LOL. The only thing I'd have to bring is a few drakes and cockerels but I haven't decided which to let go yet :x so I'd be there just to buy.. ehehe. It's a fun thought, though!

Just looked up Mt. Orab. About 2 hours from me and I bet I could talk OHfarmerswife into coming with me.

Cluckitail, if we could work it out that you could bring the Basque chicks with you (assuming you would come), that would be outstanding. I will PM you about that after bit.

Could we do it August 17th to get me out of my 25-year class reunion? LOL Just kidding!

We are at a long-time low on chickens right now and very Comet heavy (hate to admit it but I really like them). Could possibly bring a nice Marans trio and who knows what I might find at the swap I'm going to tomorrow.

i just realized, i would be passing peebles on 32. if minihorse wants a ride i can pick you up along the way. i have a an Isuzu rodeo, or a pickup depending on who im picking up and how much room you need.
