OHio ~ Come on Buckeyes, let me know your out there!

They all came from members on BYC.
My oldest are from BHEP
The next are TNBEARCHICK
the next two batches are KYTINPUSHER[/quote
would you mind putting me in contract with some of them?
Hey, I just seen this! If you send them a PM on here and ask if they might have some for sale I'm sure they would be willing to sell a few. KYTINPUSHER
puts auctions up every so often and TNBEARCHICK is active on the front porch swing thread. BHEP I don't hear allot out of. She posts sometimes on the auction threads. That's the only way I really know how to get a hold of them. You could also check out the SFH thread. There's a bunch of breeders on there too. Hope that helps!

FWIW, I've gotten eggs from both Beth (Bhep) and Walli (KYTinpusher) -- they are both very conscientious with their packing and jst lovely ladies to deal with. Check the crazy 24 hour auction thread -- I know Walli posts on there pretty frequently. I've got six of her SFH out in the barn right now, and one adorable black & white SFH from TNBearchick (also well-packed & good people -- I forgot to add them!)

For the person looking for speckled sussex a couple pages back, I would also recommend Gary Overton. He has bred them for ever, is a APA judge, between him and Tim Bowles probably judge most of the county fairs in Ohio. He is located west of Dayton, good guy.

I'm looking for one or two female white midget turkeys maybe 2-6 months old. Anybody know where in NE Ohio there might be some available?

Does anyone in the Marengo/Galion/Delaware/Columbus area have any young laying hens for sale? I'm not too picky on breeds, just a colorful variety of eggs. I have more egg orders then my girls can fill AND I lost my sweet EE hen yesterday...Time to pump up the Girl's Dorm! (their coop)

So sorry to hear you are having problems and are selling out. We have the same coop and it is high quality. $250 is more than a fair price. Can you just give your neightbors some eggs now and then to keep them happy?
I live in Xenia Ohio and I have 6 Delaware Chickens (1 Roo, 5 Hens) that were born on March 2nd, 2013. They just started laying one week ago. Right now we are getting about 4-5 eggs per day. The problem is that now they want to migrate into my neighbors yard and my yard is just too big to fence in. We are looking into Re-homing them for that reason. I would like the chickens and their coop to stay together, but would also think about separating the two if it works out best that way. Is there any local chicken lovers who would like a young beautiful flock of 6 Delaware's? Only $250. The coop, which was more than that, was built for us about 4 months ago.

Thanks,

here's a couple better pictures of the two new silkies that shaybaby brought me. The little pullet is starting to get a personality instead of laying around acting like in going to eat her all the time.
