I hear you dazed! City girl here married to a boy born &raised on a farm. I'm 57, only been here 9 years.
Love living in the country. Took a bit getting use to.
Only had chickens fir a year &1/2 am totally hooked.
Built second coop this summer & working on the third. Gonna try my hand at breeding cream legbars.

i have five barred rock hens and a easter egger rooster.there all about 3months old.i also have a male and female potbellies,five pigmy goats,and six ducks they are cambells and muscovys.

I have a few months to find this but I am looking for a Chocolate Wyandotte or a Chocolate Orp Rooster. I found someone that is 3 hours away from in KY that has a Choc Wyandotte Rooster but its a little more then what I wanted to spend on a rooster, I might even be willing to try my hand on hatching eggs. I am crossing my fingers my last shipping eggs didn't do well, I should be getting some Cream Legbars this week. There are just too many breeds I want now and it just keeps getting longer and longer

Nice to meet you! I'm in southern Ohio and i'm 27 also. Soon to be 28. We've got a heck of an assortment here. I'm a city girl turned country(no one believe me on the city part) but my mom was raised on a dairy farm so I get it honest. Raising miniature horses and to many chickens and ducks! Living in Adams county Ohio. We're always happy to help if anyone needs it.

With the frizzle showgirls I ordered I am getting 2 lav am eggs. I got to pick 16 and they only had 14 showgirls. So if they hatch you want them?

Yeah, I'd be interested if they hatch.

I so want some. How would you get that? I have a calico sizzle hen. What would I breed her with?

Honestly Idk. He popped up from a cuckoo breeding here and I posted ics of him and asked if he was any color or just a whoops and they said he looked calico. I'll see if I can find the picture.
