Won't take long with our "help".6 chickens - so your not chicken obsessed yet?
Welcome to the group! Located in Adams county here. Raising more chickens than I need.I an near Glouster and Burr Oak State park.
Seemed like a good solution cause I've got choc AM's hatching Friday and there will be some splits. Plus I have 3pure black eggs in there and I know if I zip tie within the week I will have them losing the zip ties. Someone is going to give me one tomorrow they have as an extra. Thought it was a good way to permanently mark them so I'm not guessing in the future. Thanks.i do not have a toe punch, but probably about 3 times a week i threaten to get one. i try to keep different breeds that are colored similar in different coops, to help keep them straight until they get old enough to put a permanent band on. i still catch myself using a lot of zip ties. i dont see any issues with toe punches though. judges ignore them when they see the mark, its a good solution to your problem.![]()
