fat people can be weird about our weight. i make jokes about mine all the time, but when my wife says im getting fatter it bothers me sometimes. but she is right, im getting bigger. im almost as broad as i am tall....

mlaff, i will make a prediction of a 75% hatch on whats left.. as long as you didnt keep any bacterial rings.

Oh, lost one of my SFH chicks to an accident. Apparently they got into a fight and knocked the heat lamp down on top of one of them. Could have been worse and they could have set my house on fire. my bf called and told me about it. They lost their heat lamp too because of it. Figure if they're big enough to jump that high they don't need it considering they're still in a 70° house. Not sure how they knocked it down but guess I'm going to have to hang the lamps higher or use a completely enclosed ring instead of a hook.

ive always been a big eater though. 2 wendy's triples with cheese only, large fry and a milkshake for lunch.

when i was 16 i was about 140 lbs. mom made burritos for the first time, i ate 9 with the large shells - about a half pound each. she laughed and said she didnt know where i put it all.

if you have ever seen the movie "the great outdoors" (i think) where john candy eats the 96 oz. oz steak, my wife comments that i can do that and go out to an all you can eat buffet afterwards.

I'm sure ill check again before day 14. I'm going to try and email the person I bought my original showgirls and silkies from to see if she answers back. I tried emailing her awhile back and texting with no answer. Saw she posted a cl add so I'm going to give it a try and see what happens. I just hate making that 2 hour drive. Blah.

So sorry to hear that. I invested in the brinsea brooders for that reason. When we had the third garage converted into a coop the heat lamp fell and caught the bench on fire. We were on our way to Tenn and thankfully one of our friends had stopped by to do something for my DH. I love the brooders but if you go out of town I would make sure whoever watches them checks to make sure it's always on. Went out of town and someone had unplugged it and lost my little frizzle turken that way.
