OHio ~ Come on Buckeyes, let me know your out there!

Gahhh, I wanted some icies! Save me a couple or three? Please? Pretty please?!? My pullet hatched from eggs from thebirdguy. I'll get a pic of her tomorrow next to something for comparison. She is 20weeks old today. I might be exaggerating a little but she's quite a bit bigger than my SFH and they are older than her. She's as big as my coro Sussex pullet that hatched the same day.

ShayBaby - Take the kittens off my hands and I'll give you a deal on the Icelandics that you just can't refuse! LOL

Actually I'm not 100% sure we're bringing the Icies now. A friend of mine posted her flock on the 'Rare Breed FB page and had such an overwhelming response on hers (most of which I traded her for a goat LOL) that she is sending people my way and may have a buyer for them in Indiana.

Love it when chicken people help each other out like that!

Chicken peeps are the BEST!!

And I can barely wait to meet a bunch of you in person tomorrow!!

I will be bringing hatching eggs to the Delaware swap tomorrow, too. My partridge silkies are laying like gangbusters and my black/blue showgirls are as well. Plus more silkie chicks have made their way into the world, and they will be coming along to find new homes. Sorry, the swan cygnets will be staying home since I think that they would get bored sitting in the back of my SUV for all that time...LOL!

Hey CHickawawa, could you post a link to that? I *think* I have the page on my facebook account, but I'm not sure!

And basque eggs are gone -- all wrapped and ready to go in the mail later today :)

Hope you all had a nice time at the swap! I went to the poultry show down here. It was neat to look around, and I brought home a Salmon Faverolle bantam trio (c'mon girls, lets see those eggers!), a white runner duck gal and Muscovy gal (we needed more girls because we have too many drakes that I love too much to let go). :D They had quite a few nice birds for sale. If I'd had more money on me, I'd have spent a fortune! DH already freaked out that I spent 60. :p Pff. They had nice cornish bantams and modern game bantams, both of which I really want but couldn't afford. :th

Wish I could of went but found out last minute Josh is going to emporia, Kansas for 2 months to work. I'll be at the swap tomorrow though. Did you see any snowy calls there Shay?

There were a lot of calls, quite a few different colors. The blue fawn were mighty tempting. I didn't see any proper snowies, but I might have overlooked them.

Found a guy who said he will be at Lucasville with SQ snowy calls. I'm going to call him today and see what he has available cause I won't be able to get to Lucasville until Saturday morning and I don't want him to sell out since he said he will only be there Friday and Saturday. Maybe I can get him to hold me back a nice drake or pair.
