Oh they sling mud everywhere. the pen will need a new floor loaded in once they are out of it. I will get a new pic taken soon so you can hopefully give me some insight on them. I need to get a pond built before they get much larger, the bowl is getting small.
soon enough they'll be all over you

Yep. :(

Other than the one slow one left, the rest are looking good. All bright-eyed, clean and fuzzy, eating, drinking, running around, and sleeping.
Edit to add... How'd you get my name to show up as a link like that?

Sorry to hear about the one. I hate losing any birds, butit does happen. Have you tried adding electrolyte to the water for the one slow one. It may just need a little extra pep in his step! Glad to hear the others aredoing really well.

I have over 100 eggs set to hatch this weekend. They started last night. There will be a bunch for sale in a few days if anyone is interested. I'm on the northeast side of Cambridge. PM me if you want chicks.

what kind of chicks will you have

I have a mixed flock that lays a wide range of colors. Chances for blue, green, olive & chocolate eggs are high. I just call them rainbow layers.

Hello Fellow Buckeyes!

I'm new to BYC and raising chickens in general. We live in North Central Ohio (right between Toledo and Cleveland). Glad to see so many other Ohio chicken people!

Does anyone in Ohio know of any Faverolles breeders? I am in northeast Ohio and am looking to add some to my flock.
