Not a close neighbor (Ross County) but I am ready for spring. However, I reminded DW it is 2 months until spring is officially here. Should have seen the look
I got and it's a good thing you didn't hear her remarks. I have 15 mixed birds 2 of which are roosters and one pig on my farmette.

Oh I love that you call yours a farmette! My aunt calls our house a farmette, I call it a microfarm
Snow's coming tomorrow, those poor hens are ready for spring too!

Yes, we have about 13 acres here and two home, two chicken flocks. Son and DIL live in other house w/one granddaughter and just found out today another granddaughter is on the way. Oh, we knew there was one on the way, didn't know the gender until today. Kind of exciting for DW and I. I've also referred to my place as a microfarm. We have two fields we cash rent to a farmer that plants crops. I have a pig on the garden right now. Will move her to a new area in the spring. She is so much fun, I want goats, but wife vetoes those as last ones we had we got too attached to when we had to get rid of them.
I like to call mine a " Gentleman's farm" !!! Hang on guys - the snow is coming and we are looking at 1 degree in the morning! Ugghh FROZEN WATER BOWLS!
