Remember that there will be a BYC table in the show hall and all who check in can get a name badge.
There will be lots of Silkies (and about everything else) offered for sale.

Remember that only exhibitors can have birds for sale inside the building. Setting up outside the showhall is not permitted by the state fairgrounds administration. Certainly many birds are picked up and delivered at the show.

Good to know about the table. I hadn't read that before (and I thought I read all the posts but may've missed one).

I'm sure there will be a lot for sale. But I like getting BYC peep's birds...so I thought I'd ask

I have seen the top breeders sell out by Friday 5PM. Do not be later than 10A on Saturday for the best selection of the median price birds. The really expensive ones go first and last. Fasionable breeds go fast.

Hey all. I am taking an OEGB hen to nationals and I have never shown before, please don't laugh! My son showed at county fair and she did really good. So, he asked me to take her and show her there since I was already going, he isn't going with me. It's kind of a pre-planned weekend with a friend who is showing ducks and geese. Does anyone know if the hen needs to have a leg band and how current does the pollorum test need to be? She had one done this year. If it needs to be more current is there someone available to test them at the show? The things we do for our children! Crash course in showing at Nationals.
