Sorry to hear that.
I guess if it wasn't so cold it would have been fine.

Show it that .40cal. like that guy did to his daughter's laptop!
Hmmm we might have to go then, lol. My son got a OEGB (we think) rooster, he is the sweetest thing. He was going cheap and so we bought him for $4. I am sure he isn't "show or breeder" quality. But my 9 year old just loves him and the rooster seems to think Nathanael is all that and more. He sits on Nathanael's shoulder and lets him pick him up without question. He runs from everyone else. We bought a little hen for him on Thursday in Maude but she is not very active and had some pasty butt today so will see if cleaning that up makes her a bit more active. We have her in quarentine until we know for a fact she isn't sick. But we got 2 other little roosters that came with Nathanael's that need a girl friend lol. Nathanael is now drawing up plans for his little rooster and hen to have a big cage in our classroom (we homeschool), lol.
Just talked to Teva and it's snowing in beautiful downtown Piedmont! Snowing here too about 9 East of Kingfisher.
And it is blowing from the South too. I am going to have to go out a rearrange tarps and windbreaks!
I have heard of the wonder egg plant, but have never grown it. If it is an eggplant it will not like cold at all, it will be a heat lover.
The one on the far left is an EE. (easter egger)
Yes they do every night at sundown. They huddle together to keep warm. I just go out there and check them and lock the door. Welcome to the Okies in BYC thread. I'm new to this also. The people on here are great! So helpful.
