***OKIES in the BYC III ***

I'm in Nowata OK. Yea I'm looking for pets not show quality. Not looking to spend an arm and a leg don't think my wife would appreciate that haha
June would be the person to talk to. She has a pet grooming business in Moore right off of 35.. This is where she keeps a lot of her birds.. IMHO her pet quality are better then some people's show quality..

Boaz has this look on his face that says "You know you want me"! You should play the song "I'm sexy and I know it" and see if he dances LOL!

Pretty boy!

Pretty birds Ksane. ~~Finally finished the TARDIS, it has more mistakes then the Weeping Angel did, but I couldn't fix the remaining ones w/o major reworking and couldn't face the seam ripper again!!!! If I don't decide to redo it I'll put the Police box lettering on this one. The background fabric could not have been more perfect find. B/w for a nod to the "old b/w days", circular pattern a nod to the circular Gallifrian language, and compasses, for travel through time and space. ~~All the blue parts of this were 3 layers of fabric a base of either black or white, then 2 layers of blue sheer over them to make the wood grain patterning.
That is so beautiful you seem to be gifted in several areas your photos and quilts you have natural talent that you are born with not learned congrats .

Aaawww, sweet Joe!
Hunter, I got my boy from Junebug also. Her Seramas are very petite compared to many I've seen. They do need to be kept inside. Mine is 14 ounces and even that is bigger than most her Seramas.
They are cute, but if you have to keep them in the house, don't the roosters wake you up crowing every morning? Just asking, don't know if my family would like being awaken from crowing inside every morning...lol. Thanks

So is it bad of me to set my grandbabies up to be future chicken junkies?

Poor little Zima was scratched by one of the other chickens and has a terrible eye infection. I'm fairly sure she's lost the eye. She hasn't been well since the infection set in, and I worry that we may end up losing her. Since the reason her eye is in such awful shape is because one of the other chickens saw her swollen eye and tried to peck it out of her head, she is inside, alone. We all know chickens get depressed when they're alone, and the grandbabies were wanting to play with the baby chickies, so I killed two birds (ha!) with one stone. I spread a sheet on the bed, made sure the girls were covered with it, popped a movie in, and let them feed Zima mealworms until she fell asleep in my two year old granddaughter's lap.
