x2 humidity and temps seem to play a big role in no bakes just like with souffles and pecan pies. Sigh.
I have my own mystery though. I planted red pontiac potatoes for the first time this year. They grew great, no problems, no bugs, etc. Last week the vines started to die back so we went to harvest them and as we pulled up the plants, the roots were just loaded with potatoes ... and every single one of the potatoes still attached to the roots and thus still growing, had started to sprout. What on earth would have caused that??? It's kind of like the year we went to pick apples and the apple tree was covered in blooms and ripe apples all at the same time. We took pictures because no one would have believed us otherwise.
