Carla... sorry to hear about your peas.... life sucks sometimes. I always worry about my hennies in their run... one stray dog from God knows where could ruin my whole day.

I knew if I didn't go to Cement it would be awesome... I suppose in February it will be -0 dang degrees. I'm never getting rid of these roos. (They are supposed to ship my machete tomorrow). Couldn't chop these guys anyways, they are too sweet for their own good.

There sre some folks down the road from me and I'm pretty sure they raise fighting roos. well a bunch of them were out in the road (the roos, not the people) boy, they were sure something to see. The big, long legs. One time Mike and I were out hiking on a Friday night and they were loading up roos in trucks in burlap sacks. Everbody was sure dressed up and ya could smell cologne for 5 miles! Was pretty sure then they were into it. But those are some gorgeous roosters. TALLLLLLL! Gorgeous colors.... what a shame.

Hope all okies are well and warm!

On Monday, January 5th, at the Ft. Smith Livestock auction my mother is selling Dad's cattle.
They are red limousine. Beautiful, top of the line.
These are not culls...Dad took great pleasure in the breeding lines, and raising of his cattle.
She is selling due to circumstances.

Again, these are not culls. If you know of anyone who would be interested...please spread the word. The Godwins told me they would send them through right around lunch...just before or right after.

So sorry Carla.

Monty I got an email from Lisa and replied just waiting on her to call me.

Got some good news last night.

My oldest daughter that is in her last semester of College and will start her internship next August gave me the news last night. WE ARE GONNA HAVE A BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bad news, she will not be at home like she wanted when she has the baby. Dont know for sure how far along they are but she suspects 6-7 weeks, and that should put it end of August or 1st week of September. I told her she WILL NOT have a Texas baby, she WILL cross that red river and have that baby. ^_^. I told her she had better have a 2 bed room apartment where ever they are. I will be there 2 weeks before and 2-4 weeks after.

I know of College Station in Texas, Ball State in Indiana, Somewhere is Kansas and another in Missouri and NY. One more and I forget where it was.

No moderns but there is a guy in Freedom that raises geat ones.
I do have pigeons! I live out in the panhandle but have been known to travel to trade birds. (really need to get to Norman) I have Indian Fantails and capuchines but am looking for a few pairs of other birds just to have them. Know guys with german beauty homers, mookees, and lahores.

Welcome!

It is a pigeon that thinks it is a turkey. Tail feathers form a fan and they feathers on their feet...there is another type that does not have feathers on their feet but they have a different posture. I think feathersite has some good pictures...I need to take some
