Hey Buckguy. Teach is right the pigeons like milo a lot. I never could find it in Ok. except in a scratch mix. Here I can buy it seoerate. I feed it as a grain and gamebird crumbles as a supplement. Chick crumbles or layer crumbles work also. They can't manage the pellets as well.Hope you get lots of nice pigeons. The owner of "color pigeons.com" told me they are haveing a sale in Jan. with "free" shipping! Can't wait. I am needing two pheasant pigeon hens,he has some but I'm concerened because his pheasant pigeons look almost the same as the starlings!

Yes it is as truamatic as it sounds!

Be sure you have a "sharp" pair of sissiors! those wattles and combs are tuff. I did a splash modern and a blue splash and and a blue OE. Not as much blood as I would have thought. But yes they can feel it at least a little!Ouch!

I used blood stop powder. They seemed to be acting fine in just a little while. But they have to have a headache from h??/!

Ronnies going to have baby chicks in the house all winter!!!

I am getting a bunch of pigeons for Teach tomorrow but it will be a week before I get them to him. I am not a pigeon guy. I took care of some of Mike's right after POOPS and my son had a few that I ended up selling.

I need all of the FOO FOO JU JU Voo Doo I can get. The cold blast is playing havoc with my bator temps. I have it wrapped in insulation and blankets. Two more days.

Dang you are smart! I'm one of those people who tells myself I won't buy any birds... but have to beg for cardboard boxes for the 10 birds I wind up getting! (this happened once with 10 birds, once with 11, and once more with 5.) True story!
