Okay, now there is a team I can root for. The last minutes of that OU game a couple of years ago was the best ending of a football game I have ever seen.

Oh, wait. You are talking about that mamby pamby pro team in Colorado somewhere.

Never mind.

I hear ya, Uli! The only reason I watch the superbowl is for the commercials.

I DVR my games so I can skip through them. My family knows not to call me about a game until at least an hour and a half after the game, as I can always tell how the Cowboys did just by the sound of their voice.

I never watch commercials. Ever.

Most anti-biotics will kill the good bacteria too. You might try giving them pro-biotics that you can get at tractor supply or Atwoods or most farm stores. If they won't take it in their water mix up a spray bottle full and spray their grain with it.

Good morning everyone!

Actually, I haven't made it to bed yet... Another sleepless night! But I have had the rare opportunity to see "9 degrees" on my indoor/outdoor thermometer! I stuck my foot out on the back porch for a minute to take out the trash, I don't think my toes are ever gonna warm back up!

So are schools out again for today? I know alot of people thought it was ridiculous, but I've seen so many small children that walk to school by themselves, I would not want them out in this weather!

Hope everyone has a great Friday! Enjoy that hot tea or cocoa with a movie and a blanket!

Morning Faerie, don't know about the good part yet!lol. Frigit 8 degrees with light wind here. When I looked out in the back yard a cottontail was zippin all over. He actually seemed to be enjoying himself.

Guinea eggs are quite good, but they have less white in proportion to the yolk of chicken eggs. I've not used them in baking, but friends have and say they are excellent--better thank chicken eggs. I know there are charts comparing nutritional value, but I don't know exactly where to find them.

Well, yesterday I got over to the store and bought a rubber bowl for watering my outdoor chickens... got darned tired of the waterer freezing to the point where I couldn't get the lid off to get hot water in there to thaw it out. So when I said good morning, I was thawing out from the trip outside in the dark freezing weather.

It was good because everybody was all snuggled up in the new pine shavings I'd gone through all the drama with yesterday

Oh yeah, my thermometer said 5 degrees this morning.
