Yes that is the combo you want, are they both black & do they have black legs? If so I would be interested in some chicks when you get some extra.
You should come up with a 1/2 NN & 1/2 NF with the chicks you hatch.
Our place looks like the set of The Fog, that awful (but entertaining if there's nothing else on) movie about creepy pirate ghosts who exact revenge against the descendants of those responsible for their deaths. I know there's gold in there somewhere too, but it's been years since I've seen the film, so I'm not sure if it's stolen, hidden, or what.
All this talk about game birds makes me anxious to find a fella for my Penny Hatch. She's giving me an egg every single day, and when I can catch her, she sits contentedly on my knee to be petted. Game raisers, is this a flaw? Maybe she's supposed to be fierce and misanthropic. I'd love to have more games if they are like Miss Penny. She's a smart girl, and I think she'll be a great momma. Game folks, please educate us on the lingo. Would her mate be a rooster, a Dom, a what? I'm curious and would like to know the correct language when talking about games.
Michael - If you are the
Okie Chicken Broker, keep an eye out for a Hatch roo for my Miss Penny.

Her mate would be a rooster. A Dom is a variety of games just like Hatch, Redquill, Hulseys, Clarets, Shufflers, Roundheads, Brown Reds, Greys, Warhorse, Albany, Whitehackle, etc.

Yes, 16 precious days. Flying to Michigan on the 26th to spend time at my Mom and Dad's farm. I think Mom has a "DaughterDo" list. I don't mind at all. My brothers, who live alot closer to them, do alot for them. An old farm and farmhouse is alot to handle for Mom and Dad who are 82 and 87.
