Gees, Pa-Pa and TJ think they're being "tortured".....This entire
house smells like home-made bread......... They got left-overs
and will get donuts in the morning so we can get on the road....
LOL

PoultryandBees - I've lost track, will you guys be there Friday
night, or Saturday night? I've got a supply of "glow sticks"
for the kids when it gets dark. Helps keep track of the little
monsters........and the "big" monsters, as well. Am thinking we
may have a few of those, too........... Guess we'll see who can
catch one of the "big ones" and put a "glow stick"...somewhere...
LOL

Several things to do in the morning, so don't know just how
early we'll be there.

Recon we need to do a "cell # list" ???? If anyone has a problem,
provided we make it "this" time....LOL.... Bill and Eulaine.....
918-316-1046, and 918-316-1047...... We don't know much
about the area, but if you're on #40, or somewhere that we
might find.....we'll come get cha.................. Hey, Pa-Pa is even
putting in two "lug wrenches" this trip......LOL

Tried really hard to double check my spelling......LOL If I blew
it.......I don't wanta hear about it !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have a good one !

I live in OKC, so I will be there Saturday morning - my husband will bring our grandson about noon, since once he arrives he will be trying to get me to buy anything that isn't already sold and I won't have as much opportunity to visit - until he gets hooked up with some other children and then he will be running around everywhere

For a shave and three shots!! I'm going back to school!! I had to assume the position...(*Hennies bends over and grabs ankles*) Anyways it's in my Mom's room, under the bed...we'll probably never see it again....all the nurses are looking under the bed and talking to it!! LOL.

Well TJs NANA said I don't have to cook much, I am going to bring chips and salsa and maybe some chickens (to cook). My sitter said I could pay her next week after Mike gets paid.... I hate doing that... I've seen Judge Judy... Anyways... get this... I found a 20.00 bill in the parking lot at Walmart!!

within seconds he had it by the breast and the leg was broken.

silver lining hubby did a good job breaking the neck..... guess I don't need to be so worried about him killing the broilers......

Ok If I can remember everything here goes.

There is a Sams in Midwest City. 15 minutes west of KOA......

Greybear yoiu guys can bring the plucker for all to admire but we can't slaughter chickens at the KOA.

The latest weather I heard was warm and windy with a 20% chance of T-storms Saturday night and a better chance Sunday morning.

We are planning on eating around noon probably a little later.

Just a reminder to folks bringing chickens. There is not a lot of shade where the chickens will be so tarps and some kind of covers would be a plus.
It goes without saying but a reminder to have feed and something to water birds in...
Also a heat source (dropcord) for chicks.

I am gonna double check the need list and post that in a few..

Aww I'm sorry, I know what that's like. I remember a chick I named Badger, she was standing between my legs eating chick feed I'd layed out for her and the next thing I know a calico was trying to make off with her. To make the story short Badger grew to be a calico cat tormentor

, but two of her sisters weren't as gaurded...

I think he knew, he's been jealous of all the attn I've been giving the chickens lately. And just before it happened I pushed him out of my way as I was working on the coop...... I love that cat, but he flew across the yard real well...... I might forgive him in a week or two....

Just had a cat done ourselves. $150.00 but she is well worth it.

So would anyone be interested in some cross bred bantams? I have some NN x Malay cross hens and one rooster that I would let go on the cheap!! The main reason I kept the hens was for bug control, little eggs and going broody. The rooster is very people friendly and is kind of a BB Red.

The hens got pecked by some Malay hens we have but they are healed up and ready to go to other homes.
