Thanks for the invite maybe next auction when we got the money to burn on chickens... ha ha ha

I'm dragging my carcass to bed...had enough for one day....

Al..can I call ya tomorrow for those directions and the time and all?

You definately need that whizbang for your meaties...that Burbs did up some nice birds....I want them.....for my freezer....

Henny,
As you are getting close to Blanchard, you will see a big rock or brick or cement sign on the right hand side that says Welcome to Blanchard. That means you are getting close to Blanchard so start paying attention.

Not much farther along you will see the rodeo grounds... white iron horse panels, bleachers, tower, etc. That's the road you turn on. Make a right and head south about half a mile and it is on the left hand side. It is a big purple metal building where they hold the FFA/4H stuff.

Much easier to find coming from our side than it is on Monty's. When I come from his side, I even overshoot it even though I have been there several times over the last few months. Something about how that road curves.

SHHHHH dont give him any ideas in case he reads this.. he already had me making no bake oatmeal cookies and then insisted on me making Chex Muddy Buddies aka Puppy Chow... ha ha ha

I am glad it went well too... he did experience some nausea for quite a long time after wards but then again he hadnt eaten anything since yesterday... We just got back from Trivetts (family eatery here in Elgin) and he is already asleep now... But thanks for thinking of him today its much appreciated... Considering what he went through the other day...

Hope to keep him comforable by the time we left the Hospital today the Pharmecy place he is to go to to pick up his meds was closed... DOH:(

Good to hear! You guys take care of yourselves. I figured you wouldn't make it after a day like today. Heck, I wouldn't!

Tell the truth, I shouldn't be going either after dropping several hundred dollars fixing up my barns and fencing and such, but I'm going anyway.

Maybe if I just left the cages at home...

Ya know you will end up with something with or without a cage... thats what happened to us at POOPs, didnt bring a cage and whoopa we ended up with 6 baby chicks DD won in the kids raffle and then our Cruella... I had to bid on a chick box just so we could get them home...

Jeannie

Stimpys Chickens are attacking me... and there is a ax in my tree? Does it belong to Henny Penny? or on Al's Heiny

Good evening everyone just got back from taking our DD out for her B-day had a great time and it looks like we aint gonna make it to Eufaula but there will be plenty more in the future hope everyone had a great day!!!

hi guys, had my gang out for their free time, and two of them got too close to the dog fence, well, these dogs thought it was snack time - i yelled, the hens scrambled away from the fence, well, i looked to my side and that roo i have been trying to tame was standing next to me in defense mode. not sure if he was coming after his hens, or me- so my question, when you have 2 roos defending their girls, will they fight predators side by side? cause he had all the chance in the world to come after me, but instead stood close by- no aggression other than just standing with his hackles up- just wondering
