I think all the dust an dander is why I had to use my inhaler this morning and was still feeling congested.

It was great to see everyone and I appreciated the help of Al and Michael helping me find a large old rooster for my friend. Who would have thought that they would be in such short supply when I wanted one.

When I got home I unloaded the critters and left the rest of the stuff in the van and trailer, then crashed and burned for a few hours. Delivered the guineas and one of the cages that Teach brought me to a friend when I got up this morning. My adult guineas came over and visited the "prisoners" before I got them back into the van. Guineas are very curious and social critters.

Grace - No problem, we'll send it home with Sherri from Fayetteville. Am
glad we figured out whose it is.

KT - I've had this bronchial crud for two weeks now. When I get to
rattling and hacking around anyone and see that they are staring
at me, I assure them, "No, I don't have the swine flu, I have the
HenniePennie Snarkies". Oh, I still get some funny looks, but noone
has asked for any further explanation.............LOL

Have a good one !

This morning I took some of that stuff that comes in a medicine bottle with the little cup on top, because I was having problems breathing - so my brain is a little thick. (thicker than normal

) Are you suggesting using those little measuring cups to measure out the amount of worming medicine to add to the bird's water?

Yes, I get odd looks, well "the look" when I grab the good measuring spoons to do it!

Hey folks! dachsunds - our dear Okie in Tennessee - found these guys at a sale. Here is his note:

"Hey all you Oriental game people. I got these at the Amish sale in Ky. Can anyone identify the breed? They are bantams I believe. They are almost as tall as a standard chicken. I can see I am going to have to locate some standard size of these in the spring! They must be massive. The male's face is puffy and I thought he might have sinus infection at first but he seems to be able to control this and sometimes it is not puffy. Must be a defensive tactic!" ....dachsunds

Les, I don't have any good measuring spoons anymore....they are all hanging screws in the coop....LOL.

Nana...do ya need a shot of Tylan? Some LS-50? Have ya wormed yourself recently? Maybe a few CCs of Rooster Booster....PolyVisol (without iron!) Does your roof leak? Any mold or mildew? Botulism? MG? CRD?

Al is that what ya told me my banties were? They look the same...Jeez dachs I can't remember the string of names...black breasted, blonde- haired, blue-eyed something or others...Al says if ya buy baties from Atwoods...they are their main thing from Ideal...

Good afternoon! Been working on the electric fencing for my birds, dogs, and goats this afternoon, but it is about gametime so I thought I would pop in to say "hey".

So... Hey!

This will be the last time I check in until after I have seen the game. I always record it and then start watching from the beginning about halfway through so I can skip through the commercials and the moronic commentary of the play-by-play guys. So, in case someone pops in to rib me about how badly they are losing and thus give away the score, I won't be back till the game clock says 00.00.

Y'all have fun!

Nana - maybe you need to run a humidifier with some Vanodine in it.

Nana - What does your doctor say is causing the cough? A friend of mine developed a bronchial infection after gardening and apparently inhaling some mold. She has been on antibiotics for several months and her doctor said that the bronchial infection may require 6-18 months of antibiotic treatment to clear it up completely.

Nana and Henny - Take care of yourselves - hope you two got the naps you so desperately needed this afternoon.

Don't worry, Monty - the thread has only been down for an hour this time. Have you ever wondered if all the Okies are conspiring to not post after you do to give you a complex? That would be so silly!

It was nice to meet Okiemommy this afternoon, along with her sweet husband and 5 adorable children. The kitten she brought me is cute as a bug's ear and I enjoyed showing my various birds and identifying which birds are from the various members of BYC. Ya'll sure are enablers
