Donna we had a great Christmas got one last family get together tonight and we will be done. I am sorry to hear of your losses. When you get ready to get rid of some cochins let me know we are needing some more come spring. Hope you had a great Christmas!!!

The sideways snow is what really got us I think. It blew snow about 4 feet in under our door in our main hen house. Luckily it stayed dry through the rest of it. My DH is still learning as we go and sometimes he doesn't do things the way I wouldl...like checking to see if the bottom of the door is pushed in well, or little quirks that would save in the long run. But, he is wonderful to feed and water and make me stay inside.

Al...if it wasn't so bad out and so far I might take you up on you driving here....LOL

Ah Q and Al...you guys are so sweet. You've made my day with your thoughtfulness. People like you all is why I love this site. You all are like an extended family...I am so blessed.

aww Donna sorry you lost some! I am feeling pretty lucky to have not lost any yet. Sounds like you have had a wonderful Christmas besides that!

We ventured out finally, went to the other inlaws to do Christmas, hit blockbuster for a movie and the store for some bread & salad. Gonna make some deer steaks, Salad & Veggies. Yummy.

Sad thing is that I am bored all over again!

Well we're gonna venture out again... having my birthday dinner at Santa Fe in MWC. Was supposed to be a surprise but when I called my dad he asked me to get him some tacos, and my mom started chewing him out... I told her that if she wanted to surprise us with dinner, she'd better let my dad know! All he was thinking about was that if he doesn't eat by a certain time, the medication he's on for his diabetes tears him up! It was hilarious

Guess I should get J off World of Warcraft so we can leave...
