Haven't been around much the last two weeks. Kinda rough. Dr. put me on Prednisone and Bactrim for the allergic reaction to the wasp sting. When I finished the Prednisone, had an allergic reaction to the Bactrim, which I'm still dealing with. Am quite a bit better, but still not functioning well. Vashi is having to care for all the birds, which is hard on him. I'm at least able to help a little now.

Several of you are still in my thoughts and prayers.

Graybear, I tried to PM you, but your box is full.

DO be careful around wasps!

Hey don't forget the Oklahoma City Museum of Art if you would like to see some fabulous art work. Here is the address and phone number, 415 Couch Drive Oklahoma City, OK 73102-2214
(405) 236-3100. This way you can google it to get directions.

Betsy Hope you start feeling better. Most the members of my family were deathly allergic to wasps, so I know how serious a wasp sting can be for folks. For some reason I did not inheritate that allergy and am also immune to poison ivy but still try to avoid both if I can.

Robin the article was great, as was the picture. It is so cool to have a celeb on our humble thread. Way to go!

THANK YOU for the reminder! I looked around, and sure enough, there is a wasp nest (large grapefruit size) that is hanging off the back of the barn, right in the doorway (I have garage style roll up doors) but kinda hidden where you have to really look to see it. Darn wasps!

I get to spray them tonight...I hope
