We have more than a few stumps - When we mover here 6 years ago we hade more than 40 trees on our acre. We have been loosing them steadily since. A huge hickory and a beautiful, big double oak are especially missed. That tree bore has been getting the pines that border the road.
We used to cut and remove them ourselves but can't keep up. We just paid 600.00 for a guy to cut down 6 pines. We thought that was a pretty good price for cutting, and clearing and hauling off everything. He also trimmed our huge oak. Now all our nieghbors are hiring him before he raises his prices.
I talked to him the other day, I have been hauling the cedar logs he is cutting. He has great prices compared to any other tree guys I have heard.
