i read online to add molasses to the water to keep from freezing, anyone here that one? just think the ducks could play in molasses water!
 
It would have made a great pic, unfortunately my cell phone was dead so I couldn't snap any right then. I also am possibly the worst photographer that has ever lived, so whether or not it would have been recognizable for what it was is very questionable.

ok i think ive about got all the eggs and chicks comeing that i wanted , just waiting on emails for the silver sussex , speckled sussex , and the brown red ameraucanas .... and then i should be set to just hatch my own eggs from here on out ... UNLESS something by chance happens to catch my eye lol
